Congratulations Wolf and Mya!!

Wolf is a white 5 year old male husky mix who is smaller in size. He has a nice disposition and appreciates any attention he receives. Wolf loves to snuggle with his humans, and he plays well with other dogs, especially his partner Maya. Maya is a sweet 6 year old black and white female medium size husky, with one very cute bent ear that only adds to her charm. Wolf and Maya were loved by one family who unfortunately lost their home and had to give them up. They are a bonded pair who need to be adopted together, so if you’re looking to expand your family by two, then Wolf and Maya could be just the right new companions for you!

Brooklyn is a 6 year old male husky mix. This energetic boy came into rescue due to his family losing their home. Brooklyn is a funny, good natured love bug who will always be happy to see you, and will greet you with a joyful tail wag. This sweet boy is happy to meet all humans but can be selective when it comes to other dog pals. Brooklyn likes to be right in the middle of the action, so he would do well with a companion or a family that enjoys an active lifestyle. He would benefit from someone who will continue working with him to positively reinforce polite doggy manners. Brooklyn loves to go for walks, but tends to pull on lead, especially when he sees small animals. He enjoys a good game of fetch or some tug of war with his favorite toys, and with some additional training, this happy-to-please pup could be a fine companion for someone who is looking for a running buddy. Brooklyn is a great dog who would surely reward his furever family with loads of love, and loads of fun!

 

Congratulations Chopper!!

Chopper came into rescue due to his human family going through a divorce. Chopper’s mom is a husky named Codi who is also a current MaPaw resident. Just like his mom, he has one blue eye and one brown eye. We’re not sure what breed his dad is, but the combination of breeds has given Chopper a sweet and gentle personality, and he is one extremely lovable pup. Chopper is a medium energy dog who enjoys walks and is very good on a leash, but what he seems to enjoy more than anything is snuggling up to his favorite humans for lots of hugs and kisses. It’s possible that Chopper was on the receiving end of some treatment that has left him feeling a bit scared, but rather than making him mean it has just made him a little shy. Once Chopper feels safe, he will reward you with loads of love and appreciation. He would be a wonderful dog for a family, or for anyone looking for a great furever friend.

Jaxx is a neutered male, estimated to be approximately 1-2 years old. He has a thick pure white coat and baby blue eyes to melt your heart. He seems to be a typical young boy that needs lots of love and training. He came in as a stray, so we’ll keep you updated as we learn more about him.

Layla is one of the new girls on the block. So far she fits right in with the farm dogs.

This little cutie came into rescue because her family was unable to continue keeping a dog where they live. Aisha has a beautiful fluffy black and white coat and stands about 2 feet from the ground. One of our regular dog walkers has nicknamed her Little Sweetness because of her smaller stature and friendly nature.

Aisha enjoys human companionship and gets along with most of the dogs she’s met since arriving in rescue. She’s always happy to sit on command and give you her paw. True to her breed, Aisha’s husky prey drive is strong, so it would be best for her to live in a house without cats or other small animals. Her energy level is moderate. She loves going for brisk walks and would appreciate a companion who enjoys getting out for walks with her. After her walk she’ll be happy to hang out and enjoy your company.

Tika is a 5 year old male, Alaskan Malamute and Husky mix with a gentle disposition. This big guy came into rescue because his family moved and was unable to take him along. He has lived outside his whole life but Tika is a people dog who loves to snuggle close. He is currently being treated for Lyme, although this hasn’t slowed him down.  He enjoys walks and playtime with the other dogs. If you’re looking for a friendly and mellow companion, Tika might be just the right dog for you!
