Blizzard is a husky mix, possibly with Norwegian Elkhound or Belgian Shepherd, that has a fantastic fluffy coat, soft ears and piercing blue eyes. Blizzard is currently with his present family, however, the family has grown and long work hours and the busy household does not allow much quality time for Blizzard. He is a very friendly boy and needs more attention.

Huli is one easy going gal. This sweetheart is low energy and has a very important job ~ keeping the couch from going anywhere! She is very well behaved and trustworthy in the house (especially when she tends to stay on “her” couch). Huli loves people and is good with other dogs her size or larger, but no smaller dogs please.

Jazzi is a very special girl ~ a one eyed beauty with a tail that was once broken. She came into our rescue sick and tired, yet she greeted us with soft kisses. Jazzi is blind in her remaining eye due to a cataract. Blindness has not slowed her down and she quickly mapped her way through the house and fenced yard.

Jessie came into rescue and is doing great with her canine foster siblings. She was very frightened at first; not knowing what was happening and why she was here, but we quickly gained her trust and a loving girl emerged. She is trustworthy in the house and a joy to be around ~ always nearby for a cuddle and pat or, even better, a special treat.

Joey is a very special Collie/Siberian mix who is completely blind. He was found lost and alone. We will never know his past history, however, we do know he is an absolutely wonderful dog that is affectionate and happy just to follow your voice and be part of the family.

Kiernan’s owner realized he didn’t have the time and attention for Kiernan that he so deserved and asked us to help him find a perfect home. He is a happy and goofy young Siberian who loves everyone and has charmed his way into his foster home.

Ozzie is a Siberian youngster that is very intelligent and he has matured nicely. He is an affectionate boy that has become a wonderful pet and excellent companion. He is great with people and loves his crate. He should be in a home with another active canine companion and a secure six foot fenced-in yard to play in.

Our hearts broke when she was found running loose in the streets ~ you can plainly see every bone in her frail body. She obviously has seen hard times and yet her eyes still beg for love and her tail wags hopefully.

Stryker is friends with everyone in the rescue, he gets along with all people and pups. He is crate trained, but is trustworthy loose in the house. Stryker came into rescue with a history of epilepsy and seizures and is on an inexpensive medicine which is quite effective. We have seen no seizures at all during his stay with us and we will continue to watch over this lovely boy.

Tippy is a Chow/Siberian Husky (Chusky) mix that is adorable and she knows it! She is ready to take on the world and is extremely affectionate with people. She fancies herself as a lap dog, loves to cuddle (when she stops wiggling) and never tires of giving kisses.

Trudi is a black and white “larger than life” Siberian we immediately fell in love with who somehow lost her family. Trudi came to us at a staggering 107 pounds and bloodwork determined she is hypothyroid – a condition that causes her to easily gain weight. Fortunately, this is very easy to control with inexpensive medicine.

Zeke is the classic Siberian with all of the breed issues ~ he is an escape artist and easily will climb chain link fence in kennel runs and fences. This boy needs a six foot privacy fence to keep him safe and sound. He is high energy and needs a canine companion to keep him entertained.

Zelda is a beautiful black and white Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute with longer hair, baby blue eyes and a splash of adorable freckles. She is crate trained, however, is very trustworthy in her foster home. She is friendly with other dogs that are rather low key and will also be fine as an only dog with lots of attention and love. Zelda joined MaPaw with a history of epilepsy and seizures, which is controlled with inexpensive medication.
