"If you'll be my bodyguard, I can be your long lost pal"--Paul Simon

Timber was abandoned, confused, frightened, lonely . . . and blind. He was not sure where he was or what is happening. With a little help from a lot of friends, he is now living the good life. Here is his story...

A lady in a rural area found Timber in her yard. He was totally blind and stumbled into everything. She could not keep Timber because she is a truck driver and often on the road. On 6-17-01, he moved in with Laura whose roommate agreed that he could stay for a month while Laura looked for a new home for him. Laura contacted MaPaw and on 7-10-01, Timber came into rescue...complete with coverage from NBC10 in Philadelphia.
