Congratulations Katie!!
Katie is a 45 pound, 5 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix.
Katie would like to find a new home that will be
able to give her the exercise and attention she
deserves. Her family is going through a
divorce and Dad is too exhausted after taking care
of his two young boys, ages 4 and 1, to give Katie
the walks he so wants to give her. Katie's dad
would really like to find her a family with children
because she is so good with his little ones.
Katie loves to be outside, running around in the yard. She loves walks
but is a little skittish during car rides. She is good
with other dogs, big and small. She does not live with
cats, so we are not sure how she would be around them.
Katie does love to chase small critters that come
into her yard. Katie knows the basic commands
and listens very well. She is up to date with all her
shots and is currently still with her family and not
in foster care.
